Ahhh... I meant to post this here a while back but life went absolutely insane after Anime St. Louis. As it turns out its a good thing I wasn't able to find a room for ACen since I would have had to cancel last minute anyway(but thanks so much to the people that offered to help~!). Now, I've got a growing backlog of photos that I've been either too sick or too busy to work on. Seriously, all of my apologies to everyone still waiting on photos from me and to those of you who watch me here. I've been super inactive lately but now that things are finally starting to settle down a bit I hope to be able to post more.

I'm also thinking about doing a kind of Feature Friday thing here. Would any of y'all be interested in something like that? Please let me know if you'd like to be featured~!

ACen is fast approaching~ I wish I could share my shoot schedule with y'all but I'm afraid I may have to end up dropping the con entirely for this year. Due to some rather unfortunate circumstances I no longer have a place to stay for ACen and although there are a few rooms left in the surrounding hotels most of them are out of my price range~ I'm considering driving up Friday and maybe only staying one night but even that would be a little up in the air at this point. I'm also hoping that maybe~ I'll find a friend I can room with but that isn't looking too likely either.

Either way~ I'll have a tentative shoot schedule up this weekend after I'm done shooting at ASTL. I'll also be making some changes to my policies. They'll be posted first on my facebook page but I'll make an announcement here too when I've got everything in order. I'm sort of nervous about these changes but after Ohayocon it became apparent that they'll really be for the best... at least I really do hope so~!


Colossalcon is pretty much set in stone at the point. Nothing to worry about there and I am beyond excited for this con. I kept trying to tell myself that I wanted it to be a vacation con so I was only going to do a few shoots... but then I realized that was silly so I'll probably have more shoot slots available than usual. I'll have my shoot schedule for Colossal up by the end of the month so keep an eye out for that if you'd like to shoot with me there~!

I'm also hoping to cosplay Mii-chan from AKB0048. I've been shamelessly addicted to this anime since Ohayocon and, in addition to be a wonderful character, Mii-chan is a photographer~ Maybe its a little silly but I'm super excited to shoot while cosplaying her.

Time to start booking shoots for Ohayocon~! This is going to be my first time at Ohayocon. I've heard some rather mixed reviews for Ohayo so I'm not really sure what to expect from this con but I couldn't be more excited to spend time with friends and kick off my super crazy convention schedule for 2013.

Katsucon is a convention that I have been just dying to go to since, well, before I was serious about cosplay photography or even just cons in general. I'd love to go but because of the cost of flying out there on top of regular convention expenses I won't be able to unless I can book at least ten shoots. Twelve to fourteen would be better but ten is the absolute minimum.

Please let me know as soon as possible if you think you'd like to shoot with me at Katsucon. I'll have a tentative shoot schedule up soon and I'll let y'all know the moment I find out whether or not I'll be able to go for sure.


I don't want to write up some big sappy thing but I really want to thank everyone that I've met and worked with this year. It makes me feel super full of myself to say but, looking at the photos from my first con and those from Youmacon, I can see so much improvement in my work. I know I have y'all to thank for that. Whether we've done a shoot together, you've helped out with a shoot or you've just watched/faved/commented on my work here online I can't thank you all enough. Your support means so much to me and it made 2012 an absolutely wonderful year in terms of cons and cosplay photography.

2013 is going to be a crazy year for cons and cosplay photography. I'm looking at almost one con a month~ I imagine its going to be really super stressful but also super fun. I'm really looking forward to getting to shoot with or hang out with some of y'all either again or for the first time in 2013~!
